"I've been looking at HDs for some time. Two years ago I looked at some in an Austin dealership. They gave me BS so I left. After reading about the changes to the touring bikes, I decided to test ride one at Kent's. Steve was great, no pressure and he answered my questions and provided valuable information - and no BS. Kent's had the colors I wanted and the ride of an Ultra was it! The new touring bikes sale themselves, I've never riden a smoother ride than the 09 Ultra Classic. I wanted accessories added and Parts have been great to work with. Financing was a breeze and LaDonna set me up with Foremost insurance which gave a better rate than my old Progressive did on my Road Star. I had problems terminating with Progressive, so go with Foremost gang. I haven't tried the Service Dept yet, but I hope that experience will be good too. "

" Thank you Steve Hood for helping my wife get the bike I wanted. I had spoke to several dealers looking for this specific bike in stock, but I got from "no quotes over phone" to price going up in person (not fun last one was three hours away). Unknown to me, my wife called Steve Hood and he fixed her up with the bike. Steve called to tell me the bike I had inquired about before was sold. "It will be several weeks before it will arrive at dealer and your wife bought it". What a surprise.
It was well worth the wait. From being kept informed on delivery. To "It's here! come and see it"! I got to unwrap it on the shipping crate even. I haven't felt like that since I was a young kid at Christmas unwrapping presents.
The whole experience was good from financing with LaDonna, to Mike fixing me up with the chrome stuff, to delivery.

On the way out to head home the engine and battery light came on so I headed back to the service bay. Turns out it was a faulty alternator which was replaced while I had lunch with all the Harley folks at the dealership today. Great burger and dog by the way.
The ride home was a blast. Haven’t been on a bike in over 15 years but it all came back to me real quick. There ain’t nothing like a Harley. Thanks again to all for a the great experience of my first Harley.

"We were at the Texas State HOG Rally this last weekend and I wanted to take the time to say "Thank you" to your staff and your local HOG chapter for a GREAT weekend.
The City of Abilene was outstanding, we were always greeted with a friendly hello. It was a long trip for us but if Abilene were to host the HOG rally again I know we would definately want to make it again.

"I want to thank the service department and especially Steve, the mechanic that looked at my bike. I had replaced the rear tire on my bike but I was having noise problems. They took my bike in immediately to see if they could help me. Steve discovered potential major problems with my rear axle. He called me to the back and showed me the problem, so it wasn't going to be a quick fix. So, I left my bike there and there were other problems also. Steve took care of all the problems and when I picked up my bike, it was like driving a new bike off the lot. Everything was tight and the bike handled much better. The quality of service from the service department and their mechanics was just superior, they are customer oriented and you definately feel as though you are their only customer at the moment.
As far as the sales department goes, I think Steve Hood is a superior asset to the sales staff. We were very pleased with our purchase we made through him.I would definately rate this ENTIRE facility a 5-Star establishment, hands down."
